Rotech Laboratories is delighted to have worked in partnership with Chilly’s Bottles, the manufacturer at the forefront of the sustainable drinkware market. Chilly’s appointed Rotech to verify the grade of stainless steel being used in the inner and outer layer of their 500ml stainless steel bottles.
The Chilly’s stainless steel bottle is a revolutionary reusable bottle that combines style and performance, is eco-friendly and durable, and ideal for hot or cold drinks.
Rotech’s Chemistry department carried out the chemical analysis by Inductively Coupled Plasma – Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP – OES) which uses the emission spectra of a sample to determine and quantify the chemical elements.
Identifying the grade of Stainless Steel being used is of fundamental importance for any manufacturer, providing quality assurance and for any regulatory compliance. Undertaking Chemical analysis and receiving certification by Rotech has helped Chilly’s Bottles ensure their product is fit for purpose.
On completion of the testing, Tim Bouscarle, Director of Chilly’s Bottles, gave Rotech 10/10 for reporting and turnaround time and said that he would definitely use the team again.
John Cross, Rotech General Manager, said: “It has been a pleasure to work with Chilly’s Bottles in giving them the support they needed to verify their product and ensure regulatory compliance, which is something so essential in today’s international market place.”
