Martin began his career as a Metallurgical Chemist at the leading UK copper-based manufacturer McKechnie’s, where he specialised in Classical Wet Analysis. Since then, Martin’s become an expert in XRF, ICP-OES and Spark Emission Spectroscope (Spark EOS), as well as Furnace Melt Control and Process Calibration.
Martin has been a much loved and key member of the Rotech team since joining us in 2009. He brought a wealth of knowledge and experience in analytical chemistry, which he has passed on to our new Head of Chemical Analysis.
John Cross, General Manager of Rotech Laboratories says, “It has been a pleasure to work with Martin over the past 12 years, and he has been an integral part of the Rotech team. His hard work, commitment, and dedication to our analytical and corrosion science services will always be valued and remembered.
It’s a new chapter for our Chemical Analysis laboratory, and on behalf of everyone at Rotech we would like to wish Martin a very happy and well-deserved retirement.”
Speaking of new chapters, congratulations is in order as Rachel Anelli begins the next stage of her career, by taking on the role of her predecessor Martin.
