What is Nadcap?
Nadcap is a dedicated accreditation and regulatory body, with over 30 years’ experience in the aerospace industry. They confirm a standard quality assurance process within the aerospace industry, whilst validating industry suppliers.
Before Nadcap, aerospace companies typically had individual ways of auditing and assessing processes to verify compliance, so having one standardised governing body allows the industry to implement uniformity.
The Audit Process
Our test procedure was audited by Nadcap, to make sure we can process samples and test them in accordance with the Nadcap standards required for the Chemical Processing accreditation.
The audit process also requires us to perform a self-audit, using a checklist outlined by Nadcap in order to supply evidence of our testing capabilities, and the procedures that we have in place.
Our successful accreditation for chemical processing means that we have consistently demonstrated our compliance, assurance, and commitment to working to a high-quality standard, when undertaking chemical processing tests for the aerospace industry.
Without a Nadcap Chemical Processing accreditation, it would be difficult for us to effectively work with companies in the aerospace industry, as we would be unable to demonstrate our quality and compliance towards this type of testing.
We have a variety of key customers within this industry, so it is important that we have quality approval from a leading regulatory body, so that our customers are confident in our testing processes, and our ability to provide accurate, traceable data.
To maintain our Nadcap Chemical Processing accreditation, we will be required to conduct another audit in 18 months’ time. During this period, we will continue to uphold our testing procedures to a Nadcap accredited standard, using the guidelines set out by the regulatory body.
All of our accreditation certificates can be found on our website here. If you have any further questions, please contact us, or call 01215140602.
