How does the process work?
The first step would be to either call us on 0121 514 0602 or send an enquiry to us online here.
Once we have received your enquiry and understood your specification, we will provide you with a quotation and a lead time. From there, a member of the relevant testing department will talk you through the material testing process from start to finish.
Once we receive your sample, all relevant and agreed tests will be carried out and you will be provided with a test report.
Yes, we can visit your business to discuss your specific material testing requirements. An appointment would need to be made with one of our metallurgists or one of our technicians
Most of our customers arrange for one of their drivers to deliver the sample to us, or they arrange their own courier.
Should you require assistance in booking a courier for your sample please contact 0121 514 0602 and a member of our administration team would be happy to help. Please be aware that you will be charged for any courier service arranged by ourselves.
We offer a free collection service within a 30-mile radius of WS10 7BG. We can collect outside of this radius, but a collection fee would be chargeable. For more information please call 0121 514 0602.
We offer premium same day service for an additional charge. We would highly recommend this option if you are wanting an immediate turnaround and need your results the same day.
We also offer a next day service which is again available at an additional charge.

Our usual turnaround times are 3 – 5 working days from receipt of the sample. We offer premium same day and next day turnaround (additional charges would apply). Please note that other tests such as failure analysis do usually take longer. Please contact us for a turnaround time based on your testing requirements.
This is dependent on what test will be carried out. Get in touch with our team to determine the size needed.
If you would like any updates on your test, simply contact us and we can advise on what stage of the material testing your sample is at.
We absolutely do, but by arrangement only.
After the test is complete, a materials test report is created using Dynalab, our LMS (Lab Management System). This is then either emailed to you or sent via Royal Mail. Should you require a further explanation of the report, a free 30-minute test interpretation call is available.
Our expert team will provide a 30-minute, free of charge, post-test consultation, should you require it. Further consultations are available but will be chargeable.
Our minimum order value is just £35.
We do not have a standard pricelist. In order for us to provide you with a bespoke pricelist we would need to discuss your specific requirements. You will then be issued with a dedicated pricelist list based on the number of samples you need testing.
Our payment terms are 30 days from invoice date issued.
